    Wastewater treatment plant model:

Number of people using the device:

    File size ≤ 50mb.

For a wastewater treatment plant to function properly, it is important to do the following actions:

    • Check operation of the air blower – 2 times/month.
    • Check your plant for bad odour – 1 time/month
    • Check work of airlift – 1 time/month
    • Check and clean the carrier bag periodically.
    • Removal of excess sludge 1-2 times/year.

If the treated wastewater leaks and drains to the soil:
Inspect the infiltration well (for leaked silts or other contaminants that may contaminate it) – periodically.

If the wastewater treatment plant operates with a wastewater pump:
Clean the drain pump float from grease, remove grease from the tank (try to pour less amount of grease to wastewater drain system) – periodically.

    For biological wastewater treatment plants:

    • Maintenance of equipment
    • Service works
    • Commissioning (Start-up)-adjustment works

Causes of device malfunction, various malfunctions:

    1. Neglect of the Plant – Failure to follow the maintenance instructions in the technical passport of the plant.
    2. Neglect of the Air blower – it is indicated in the technical passport that air blower should be inspected periodically. It is important to follow this indication as noticed in time that the air blower does not work the possibility occurs for bacteria to die.
    3. Neglect of silts’ bag – The technical passport states that the bag of silts must be inspected and cleaned of non-corrosive materials as required. An uncleaned bag of silts can clog the grates and interfere with the smooth operation of the unit.
    4. Hygiene measures in the unit – during maintenance and servicing of the unit, we often find certain hygiene measures in the unit that the unit cannot process. It is worth remembering that there is a place for such things – in the trash!
    5. Excessive wastewater load – there is a default performance for each model of the unit, i.e. how much of the amount of wastewater the unit deals per day. It is not uncommon for users to neglect these parameters and they wash and perform other household tasks in extreme quantities.
    6. Excessive amounts of household chemicals – as the device contains a living organism – are bacteria, and it is very easy to harm them. Often users do not think about this and do not use household chemicals in the way they are indicated on the packaging, i.e. quantities are often exceeded, which can not only disrupt the operation of the device, but also kill the living organism – bacteria.
    7. Adjusting the air distribution collector valves – so that the unit would properly function, it is essential to properly adjust the air distribution. While the device is undergoing commissioning (start-up) adjustment works, the specialist will adjust the device, but we often find that users, for various reasons, do not avoid doing it themselves. It is worth remembering that this work should be entrusted to professionals!
