AT75-AT5000 “August ir Ko’ Biological Wastewater Treatment Plants

AT type Biological reactors (hereinafter – biological reactors) – are aerobic flow biological household waste treatment plants made of extruded propylene assembled in the manufacture, collected at the site. The active sludge is used in the plants which biologically removes contaminants (BDS and ChDS), nitrogen and phosphorus from both household and industrial wastewater of analogous chemical composition.

The Biological reactor consists of anaerobic – anoxic zone and secondary settler. All zones are in one horizontal cylindrical container in which they are separated by separate overlays. Air blower removes the excess sludge from the container into a stabilizer mounted in a separate container.

Shape, configuration, layout of treatment stages, equipment being installed of Biological reactors are analogous in all AT75-AT400 models. When increasing the efficiency of biological reactors, the corresponding construction parameters of the plants are proportionally increased.

Houshold wastewater treatment plant AT300 – AT5000 offered by “Vandenvala” PLC can be used in large and small cities and towns where number of residents is from several hundred to five thousand residents. Our project provides all stages of biological treatment, including distribution of sludge in integrated reactor. This reduces the sizes of the plants and facilitates construction works. AT1000 – AT5000 biological reactors are made of reinforced concrete, partitions are made of polypropylene.

In biological reactor made using “August ir Ko” PLC technology are integrated all stages of biological treatment and sludge separation (anaerobic – anoxic zone and secondary settler). All stages are housed in rectangular aero-containers that are mounted on the concrete foundations, with polypropylene partitions inside the containers.

Compared to standard methods of cleaning, “August ir Ko” PLC technology outperforms such cleaning methods by saving both space and quantity of consumed energy. It is a flexible cleaning system as duration of all stages of cleaning can be changed and adjusted. This type of equipment is adapted to clean the uneven and fluctuating quantities of wastewater and withstand different loads. This type of equipment is highly compact, all cleaning system can be installed in one building. Technological cleaning processes that take place in a treatment plant are completely adjusted with each other and operate very smoothly.

We may offer wastewater treatment systems of up to 200.000 GE or 30.000 m³/day.
